Default Another dumb question,header bar

Been looking at the 2 bonding strips under the nose of my project and comparing them to all the stuff that came with the car,not seeing anything that looks like it came off there. Finally today stumbled across a pic of a header bar being bonded in,bingo thats it. Dont have one.
So its basically the support that the headlights bolt to?
Still needed if I go with an aftermarket fixed headlight mod?
Guess if I have to get one now is the time one of the vendors is having free shipping this week.

What is the best adhesive to use to bond it to the fiberglass?

I've got Fusor 100. After looking at the Fusor website, I think I'm going to use the 127. Looks like a better material for the application.

The header bar mounts the headlight supports and other front end hardware. It also provides major structural support for the hood surround panel. That, and the nose bar, are the only reinforcements on the underside of the panel.

Thanks Mike! figured it was structural as well as hanging the lights.
Corvette central has them and I just got an email about free shipping from them this week, so they get this order. Hoping to start on the front of the car by the beginning of august.

I've used fusor 127 in the past for metal to fiberglass (including a couple header bars) with good success.

I've found that it hardens a bit more flexible than fusor 100 does; it's a bit disconcerting at first but you shouldn't have any worries.

Header bar ordered. Thanks!
Got battery cables while I was at it. PO had battery jury rigged in the passenger footwell to demo the motor. Figure on starting the wiring as soon as it gets too cold for glass work in the fall.
