Default Everything is broken today

This just ain't my day today. The Vette is down for a repaint so I thought I would ride a bike to work. After charging the batteries I discovered my Harley has a starter prob and the chopper just won't say nothing. I had to drive my old truck, damn I hate to spend money but it looks like the next couple of days will be expensive.

If I recall on my last visit there was a Buick of some sort, and a Jeep 4 wheel drive to choose from as well? And that Chevy (GMC?) ain't exactly stock either.

Seriously though... how's the Vette coming? Is it at a shop yet or has life taken it's toll on your time and energy and you still hope to finish it sometime this year (like my project)? If you got to the primer step drive the thing if you need/want to... you won't hurt it. Photos please!!!! M

The Vette is fine, paint all gone, weather strip removed, trim and lenses out. All I need is to run over it with 220 grit paper and shoot the primer. The grandsons and office have taken up much time the last few weeks but haven't interfered with the progress. I recognize how **** I am so If I get the urge to hurry I back off. I think of you often, I pass a perfect parts car that I made an offer on and thought you might use something from it, but alas like others it's a Corvette so he wanted $2500 for a car with a blown motor, trashed interior and some ugly hood with louverrsi in it. I guess I need to get my IT guy to show me that photo bucket thing.

When all else fails, call in sick! It's nice to just have a day off to rest and let out all the stresses of these cars.

Can't do that, I own the place so I have to be there before and after. The car isn't stress , for me pure pleasure.

You have been incredibly generous already. And my car is coming pretty well... I'm in the middle of installing the interior, then the powertrain is next. I keep aggravating my back injury when sitting on a milk carton crate, leaning into the car and taping Reflectix seams, or cutting seat bolt holes in the carpet, or doing the "Corvette Flip" working on the underside of the dash. Saw my GP this afternoon... she prescribed some excellent muscle relaxers so this weekend may still be a "go" for some more progress! It sucks when I need to recover for a week from spasms that take 2 hours to cause... but it's all part of aging I guess. Keep at it, and stay in touch.

Beware of those damn pills. While they are a necessity for you the recreational use has ruined many people including my wife's son. I hate drugs!

Hey Mike. Pics in my build thread... it is still on the stand. Progress slowed quite a bit when my Dad had a health issue, then the growing season started here so property maintenance took precedence over progress, and my back plays up quite a bit. Soon though!
