During my short time in Memphis, I have heard tales of an local individual who put a Honda Civic body on a wrecked C5. I just smiled and nodded, thinking I needed to put on my hip waders. Then one day I was driving home from work and I ended up stopped next to a Civic, and I noticed that it had quite a nice exhaust note. Didn't hit me till he pulled away and I saw the crossed flags on the hatch.
My momma always told me: "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all". Creative. One of a kind - is all I can muster. My reason may be different from many others, so i will continue. Would I want to be seen driving a Ricer even if it had a monster power plant? Never!! Sorry mom.
While not what I would want to spend my time or money on, it is the epitomy of hot rodding.
One of my former students just dropped a 6.0 LS into his Nissan 240. Light weight, rear drive, and he was able to get parts to beef up his driveline for next to nothing at the local pick-a-part.
Personally If I were to create a mixed race car, it would have to be a Miata. Basically a modern Shelby Cobra.

I've been thinking for awhile that a Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky would be pretty cool with an LS motor swap.
I can think of several other bodies I'd put on a Corvette frame before I settled on a Honda, but that being said, you've got to admire the time and effort that went into that project.
