Where is this engine from? Block casting # 3816321
I have one of these blocks in my vette, but it is believed not to be original. It is a BB chevy, 427 CID. Does anybody know what vehicles used this block. I have seen 3916321, but never heard of 3816321.

The blocks were used in all sorts of Chevrolet products. I have seen that block number for Chevelles. It is probably the same for trucks. Those engines were made in Tonawanda, just outside Buffalo, NY.
