1980 L82 4 speed
I have been in the hobby since 1990 Going to Carlisle every year and Bloomington every couple years watching the forum cars for sale plus ebay.I know the black book says some early 80 4 speeds may have been built but have never seen one or heard of one coming up for sale.Has anyone owned or aware of 80 L82 4speed.I do know there was 1 or 2 auto converted but true Factory 4 speeds.

The L-82/4 speed combination did not meet emissions requirements. GM could not legally sell the combination. I have read as few as four very early cars may have been produced. None were supposed to have been sold to the public.
For 1980, the L-82 had to be coupled with the auto trans. You could get the 4 speed with the L-48.
