Has anyone every had their Corvette displayed at the NCM?
If so what was the experience like? Any regrets? Was it worth it?
Thanks.
I take your question as NOT relating to Museum Delivery of a NEW Corvette.
The only person I know personally that has had a Corvette displayed at the NCM has done it several times with various cars, so I presume it was a no regrets experience.
A car has got to be special to be in the NCM, I would take it as quite an honor if one of mine was.
If your question DOES relate to NCM delivery of a new Corvette, then a friend that had a new Z06 delivered by the Museum thought the experience was great.

It's a good experience - worth the drive. When you first walk in they have the "nursery" where new corvettes are waiting to be picked up. Inside they have on display a bunch of significant vettes from race cars to concepts as well as the only (as far as I know) 83 on display. But of course, you can only leave through the gift shop.
You can check with the NCM, but to display your car there, I recall you have to commit to a year or longer being without it. Granted, some of the truly rare Corvettes are not driven that often and could sit in the NCM for a year without much ado.
My two are original, but neither is rare or museum quality. I would not volunarily give up either for a year or longer.
Well my situation is unique. I am moving and do not have the space to take it with me at this time. So instead of storing it in my father's garage I thought I would try this. Especially since I thought it would be about a year before I would move to a more permanent place and could bring it over.
Plus, I thought it would be a nice notch in the corvette belt if they would accept it.

Yes! My 2000 MIL Yellow, torch red interior convertible represented model year 2000 during the Corvette 50th Anniversary at the NCM in 2003. I drove it up in May and picked it up in November.
It was a nice experience and no regrets. I'm not sure how you would assess the value...it is a contribution for a period of time. Getting it up there and back was my expense but it was a novel experience. I could look up the NCM delivery cam anytime and see it sitting there. In the end, I got a nice plaque from the NCM thanking me for my contribution.
The neat thing about it was that during the official GM Nashville 50th celebration, NCRS was among the national organizations that was invited to display Corvettes. So, my 1978 NCRS 5 Star Bowtie (survivor) silver anniversary (RPO B2Z) was invited to represent 1978. I drove it to Nashville and during the visit, and than drove it to the NCM up the road to visit the 2000, perched along that row where the RPO R8C Corvettes await their new owners.
