I know a lot of us have converted to 4 red rear lights and need a way to get back up lighting back. I found this while looking and thought I would share. It looks like a quality product. I think this is the route I will go, looks simple and clean. http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/L...-p7516915.html
That's a good idea and its bolt on.
I saw a double light bar something like that mounted in the same spot, just wasn't all 1 piece.
Let us know how well it lights up behind the car.
I`m planning to do the dual tail lights also. I really like what 7T2vette did, he posted these pics a couple months ago, VERY NICE! I think it`s roughly the same idea.
Yea thats the thread that made me look. On the late model there is not a frame like that, so the one in the link will work great, and I don't have to build it. :O)
I converted my 70 to 4 red rear lamps. I installed a 68 rear harness to connect up to them. For back up lights, I'm using a 68 exhaust valance and the 68 back up lights. I think these cars can use all the red you can give them. Both my 68 and 70 have been rear ended.
The 68 rear brake light harness is pretty easy to replace. I had the fuel tank out, which helped.
