The "New" Black C3 Thread
I figured since the old thread was closed down...we might as well start a new one.
Probably the hardest color to maintain...but boy is it worth it...here's to one of the sexiest cars ever made...in the baddest color a car has ever came in!
S/N:this is also just an excuse to see pics of some of my favorite cars on the forum...Palmbeach, SuprJames, and Kaos. And to maybe also find some new favorites...lets see em

With current tech, rules of Fizzicks......A/C is putting off more heat than cold, fact of life, Black is the hottest color, not much of an issue in Canada/close enough, but here in the south, yeh, it's a HUGE issue, and Black will just overload the HVAC system more than you can ever engineer any compensation for it.....why? because R12 is NLA.....
totally aside from the cleaning issues....
although I don't care for WHITE, which is the coolest color in sunlight conditions, it is the most efficient.....
and engines running off internal combustion being heat related, there is plenty of HEAT to be generated .....
pay the devil, takes your choice....

Well, here is my '74...Almost done just garage painted....Molded in bumper covers...Waiting on wheels and tires....gotta get glass in doors and rear window installed...planning on OBX Pipes around fall this year....Gotta love Black

Here is my black 79 L-82. But dont let the pictures fool you. It a pretty good 5 foot paint job but closer inspection reveals many cracks and crazing. A repaint will be scheduled some time in the future.
