Mine has one, just adds extra chrome to the car since I don't have chrome bumpers. The car would look bare without one since I have had the car for over 30 years. I have used it a little with small duffel bags attached to it, it looks funny when you look out the rear view mirror.

The rack was almost a deal killer on my car. I hate it and have never put it on the car. I have correct original plugs and would rather look at them then the rack.
I figured the tradeoff of sidepipes on my car was worth dealing with the holes. None of the other cars I looked at had side pipes. Over the 2 plus years I spent looking for a car, if one had a rack I ignored the car.

Mine came with a luggage rack. I bought a vintage Louis Vuitton suitcase to go on top of it for when my wife and I go on extended trips. It looks cool and greatly increases our storage capacity.
