Help guys I am trying to change out my rims on my corvette and just wanted to make sure i jacked car up and placed jack stands in correct spot.......can someone help me out with some pics or links to some...Thanks
the way i jacked mine up was one side at a time.put the jack in the middle of the frame rail where the trans mount attaches. if you have to jack it very high remove the t-tops and open the doors so if there is any flex you wont crack or jam anything. any one else do it different?
You're probably changing out the whole wheel and not just the rims?
I jack the rear from under the differential and put the jack stands under the frame at the rear of the back edge of the door. I jack the front at the front edge of the door, on the frame, and put the jack stand in front of the hydraulic jack.
