Hi everyone. As many of you know I have been restoring two vettes and had the other three parts cars over the past few years. Unfortunately I have been away for training with the air force for the past 8 months and still going, so I figured this would be the perfect time to work on the documentary part of the restoration since I am not around to work on the vettes during my free time.
I wanted to open it up to the forum to see what your opinions are on my web site. What could I do better, what could be add/taken away, any editing or miss prints, and just generally if it is informative/helpful or not. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I didn’t buy the car when it was completely assembled but I did my best to document the rest of the disassembly/rebuild process. The restoration is much further into the restoration as depicted but due to the lack of time I am doing my best to get all caught up. Thank you all for all your help so far throughout the restorations.
I just spent the last 20 minutes browsing your 68 pages and I think that your website looks TERRIFIC! Going to go through it a bit more thoroughly later on.
BTW, nice job welding up a new belly piece for your front crossmember.
Only had time to look at your trailing arm rebuild. Very good job. If the other is close to this one it will be excellent. Thanks for sharing and even more important, thanks for serving so that we can all enjoy what we do.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. This forum has really helped the restoration come along with all the questions I have had throughout the entire experience.
