I might be interested, but I have to get these out first. If your getting rid of the drive line, do you have the cover for the Dana 44 in your 82? Mine has a crack in the cover.

Yes I have it condition unknown at this point though. It also has the composition spring and if all your suspension bolts rusted out I can tag and remove these as well

OK, day 49 of my restoration and here is where I'm at. Frame will be picked up on Monday by a friend at work to be sandblasted. I will have one small repair by the left kickup where the fuel lines had rusted in place along with replacing all the body mounts. I finally got the rear trailing arms out using a port-a-power. I lifted the trailing arms with a floor jack and slipped the jaws in the pocket under the arm until they finally pushed past the shim sets on each side of the bushing. As always, thanks to the guys I work with at Bob Johnson Chevrolet here in Rochester for loaning me a tool I don't have, or hand if I need it, in order to get me to this point. If I didn't work 50 or so hours a week, I think you could restore one of these in 10 to 12 months. Here is a couple pictures.

Do you plan keeping the motor stock or are you going to give it a few mods?

How is your radiator support? That might be available from mine as well. I'm going to try and use my 90 vette cooling capsule setup in my 82.

My 82's is totally rust free as well.

No, I'm keeping it all stock. If I wanted a quick car I would have kept the 04 Z06 I had with 2500 miles on it. Once I rebuild the motor and go through the throttle bodies, this car should be reliable. I started taking the motor apart and the front crank seal was leaking along with the upper and lower intake manifold. Someone thought they could correct it with a couple of tubes of red silastic. No matter, I will put it back together the right way along with the fact that the gaskets are a lot better today.
