Does anyone have any under hood pictures of their 79-82 factory A/C installation? I'm particularly looking for close ups of the evaporator assembly (case, evaporator lines, accumulator etc), brackets and freon line connections and line runs. I don't have an AIM for these years (I own a 69') and the factory shop manual for 79-82 doesn't have much for diagrams.

Any pictures or documentation would be most appreciated.

Spend the $25 for the AIM it is the best investment you can make if you do any work on your Vette your self. I got this same advice on the forum so I am passing on the wealth.

Maybe this will help you, pictures of the car don't really help cause most stuff is buried anyways. this is from a 82 assembly manual.

Is that an 84 motor? I like how accessable the power steering pump is.

It is a 82 motor with 84 serpentine drive on it. But instead of using the 84 a/c compressor bracket I used a 85-87 bracket. Not one clearance issue with it
