74 fuse box issues
I bought my 74 with 27,000 from the original owner when he lost his license and wanted me to have it, so his kid would not get when he died.
Anyways with 27,000 miles and all options, when I restored it I replaced all the wiring as I have always heard the 74 were prone to electrical issues.
All has been well for 3000 miles but a strange thing has been going on.
It may set two weeks and if I take it to work the interior lights may not work, or the courtesy lights or the radio may not work.
One of these stop working at least once a month.
Now all I have to do is with a small flathead, slide the fuse a little and they work. Never seen anything like this before and the fuses fit tight.
So in case the above is related, today I go out to start and just cranks, so checked my wire at the electronic distributor and with key on .03, so go to fuse box where wire plugs in to IGN terminal and same thing.
Everything else works, lights gages and radio and electric fuel pump I have running off of accessories terminal.
ONLY thing I can think of is maybe when I bolted the engine harness to the fire wall, I did something years ago???
So plan was next weekend I was going to unbolt and check.
Any Ideas? What am I overlooking?
Thsanks for any ideas, in advance.

Could the no juice to the ignition terminal be a bad ignition switch?
Not much I can't do to a car but my understanding of electricity, is about as good as the British. (none)
When he lost his license due to age he called and offered the vette, I had no interest but could tell this car meant more to him then anything. After three months of calling and me saying no, he called and said I will make you an offer, you can't refuse and he did and picked it up next day sight unseen before that day with the stipulation that I not sell the car till he dies and he said he always wanted to update the 454 to a 450 hp. He said his kid has no interest in cars and would just beat the heck out of it or give it to his useless kid. None of my business.
It was such a nice car, I re-did everything and converted the 454 to a roller with alum heads and a mild 270 type cam.
Biggest thrill of the guys life was when I called him and took him for a ride in his car that was silver and now about 400-450 hp.
80 years old and he says, will it break them in 2nd, I did not know at that time but it did and then some, it was the thrill of his life.
