1971 Paint colors for half shafts and differential?
Hi Does anyone know the colors of the paint the half shafts and differential should be? Also if you have pictures that would help...thanks

The half shafts, like drive shafts, originally were a natural, unpainted finish. The exception to this may be very early production 63's, which are thought to have possibly been painted semi-gloss black.
I believe the differential, like most other cast iron chassis pieces, were left natural cast iron. Most people use "Cast Blast" on them now.
