Rearview Mirror

Hi guys, the other day while driving, I went to adjust my rearview mirror, and it came off in my hand....

Is there a special adhesive I need to use to re-attach the mirror assembly to the glass or can I use something like crazy glue?

There are special adheasive kits you can get for this, but personally, I'd just have a glass shop do it.

Regular crazy glue won't hold it very long. Get the stuff specifically for mirrors. It's probably a cyanoacrylate (like crazy glue) but it's thicker.

anything but the real stuff made for the job will fail quickly. it's not a hard job and the "glue" is very cheap. i can usually find it at a local walmart or drug store (living in south florida, the heat eventually gets to them all, so it is easy to find the adhesive pretty much everywhere, lol)
