Replace power brake booster question.
I am going to tear into the 69 a little, new interior, brake booster, steering box, etc.
In Re; the brake booster, would this be an easier job if the enterior is out of the car? I have heard there is a part of this job that is a real PIA that has to do with a bolt or nut that is hard to get to.
I have done it both ways and it is a lot easier with the interior out. I think anybody that is redoing their interior should change out the booster to save them some agrivation.
IF it's a early shark, you pull that dash panel ONCE, and then you modify hell out of the stupid light bulb harness, and put a plug on it from radio shack, that way you have just ONE plug to deal with and a ground wire and a speedo cable, and tack hookup.....simple easy and leave your damn 5000 light bulbs in the housing where they belong instead of pissing you off trying to assemble them again.....

That is why I am going to do mine. Car is 43 years old, master cylinder is original. Car is getting paint, interior, steering box, etc...might as well take the brake booster off the list of things that might go worng soon.
