On my 82 there are two moulded rubber hoses that come off the tranny hard line right before they enter the radiator. Unfortunately I had to slice them to get them off but now I can't find any replacements... Could someone please direct me to where I can buy replacements.
no one loves to save $ more than me but don't use any old rubber hose.buy hose rated for transmission service.to take the heat and not dissolve.on my '76 they are not special molded hoses.good luck.
I just had one blow out on my 82. It was a royal pain to get my fat mitts up there to replace it and was very lucky it didnt cause a fire after the fan blew trans fluid all over the engine. They are not molded, hope you saved the old ones to get the lengths right. Trans hose is what you want. Parts stores may try to tell you gas hose is ok to use but dont accept it.

Use ONLY hose that is marked "TRANS COOLER".
Auto parts stores have it, just make the kids look for the correct stuff. And it's not really necessary, but double clamps never hurt in this application.

I just replaced these hoses along with the hard lines on my 78 this past spring. I ordered a kit from Paragon that included the "correct" hose clamps along with the rubber hose. The rubber hose was printed with "transmission fluid use" or something like that.
Or, as stated above...

As others stated, getting those rubber hoses on the steel lines is a bear. I used hot water and dipped the hose end in the hot water to soften it up. It helped but be prepared to move quickly and set it in the position that will align the flare fitting and pipe with fitting opening in the radiator.
