Scam

I'll take all the 67 big block convertibles I can find for $16,000.
I would have to think it is indeed fraudulent
If it's someone local trying to work a scam with friends from a 3rd world country, give the info to the police and let them take over. At least get one of the dirt bags.

I find the seller's phone number and location interesting too. The area code is 724, which is western PA (Pittsburgh area), but the town is listed as Amblar, PA. I don't know of any Amblar PA's, but there is an Ambler, PA. It's a Philadelphia suburb!

I live 10 minutes away from Ambler.
Looking at the driveway alone, I'd say this car is located at
the 1/2 million + dollar development in Ambler.
The way it's written up sounds like a 12 y/o description.
2 possibilities both to prespective buyer.
1. Divorce, she got the car and sells it cheap for spite.
2. Junkey teenager selling fathers prized car while on a cruise?
I'd say #1 more likely a reality but have seen both examples
in my life. Gotta love coming home and found kid sold all your possessions for dope?
If for some reason anyone finds any credibility to the ad, I will look at the car. I'm not a c-2 expert by any stretch of thee imagination but I can verify #'s and certainly can detect rust.
What may have happened is it should have read:
'67 vette, NOM 350 engine, badged as a BB.
Then in this economy 16-25 is believeable.
Car looks too nice in pics to believe.
It currently may be all apart today reflecting asking price.
Oh that would make a 3rd possibilty.

As a public service for all the invaluable help I've had on this forum I called the phone# as suggested. It is a Google subscriber # with no name greeting.
I left a message to call me re: car. It is not an Ambler phone #. Area code here is 215 and Amber would be a 646.... for a residential contact.
Sounds like some ******** hijacked pics from a legit add and doctored it up for
potential internet scam. We'll see if I get a call back?? Doubt it!

Unless it's one scorned women, it is way to nice a ride for that price.
I'd buy it with a salvage title for that $, BB '67... even a fake would cost more to replicate than 16k
