It's an early '71 that still had the conical style '70 tail lights

I've got the same on my 71 vert.

Eljay, Thanks!! We do love living here, it's like living in a Nat'l Park with all the mountains and wildlife. Just the other day there was a herd of at least 50 Aoudads jumping around on the mountain in the picture just in front of my front porch. Had a beer and watched the show for awhile. Only way I even knew they were there was the babies bleating. Brewster County only paves back in the canyon periodically and last time it was supposed to be one mile, which would have gone just past our driveway. Alas, it was not meant to be. Hoping THIS year, it will go past our driveway. I keep the car garaged, but I have 2/10 mile to drive on dirt plus our driveway. Good thing for Cali dusters! I am enjoying the car immensely. Lots of beautiful blues on this posting!

Marty913, love the pics of your beautiful car on the water! I miss the water a lot, going to Clearwater Beach, Fl this Friday to visit family and friends and see the bay again! Nothing like vette pics on waterfront!

Thanks, Pensacola is a nice place to own a Vette. It does have the usual small town drawbacks like VERY few people to work on them - plus the heat & humidity can be a little tough on them. Still, I spent 35 years in Kansas City with my first 2 Vettes and that was a lot tougher weather-wise.

Thanks! I like it too, it's one of my favourite pictures of the old girl, and not even photoshopped either.

Default What Brand Paint Did You Use

Gunther - beautiful 69!! My 69 427/390 is in the paint shop now and will be ready for paint soon. What brand of paint did you use. It looks like PPG. The DuPont LeMans blue looks a bit darker I think. Yours is gorgeous.
Thanks for any info you might have like the brand and code.

Default '68 Convertible hits the beach

Whether it's a muscle beach or a topless beach we'd be right at home.
