Default Need Paint Shop referrence

I am new to forum, was referred by a friend to look here for help.

I need a paint job on my Black '82 Vette. Need a "reputable LOCAL" shop, and willing to drive a little ways, but hopefully not too far.

Does anyone know a "GREAT or Good" if I have to to say that, paint shop that will treat my car like a '82 vette and not just "an old car"?

Need info FAST!! ('Cause THAT's how I roll!) . . .

My Local Area is: Detroit Metro Area (Specifically Waterford,MI 48329)

As far a paint goes, fast may not be the way to roll.

Ask around (friends, co-workers, etc) and get recommendations. Painting fiberglass is not much different than painting metal.

I can give you places in pa, but that's it. You are better off to go into the regional section of this site and post it there. When I want to get things painted I ask people in the other corvette clubs or mechanics that I trust. But with a good painter comes a big price.
