There is a specially made, flat tool to remove interior roll-up window handles, that also works to remove the same " U " shaped clip on the lock ****. They are cheap and you should be able to get one at any auto parts store. Look for the manual window handle removal tool. I ground down the sides of mine to not scratch the trim where the lock **** is located. Lou.

If you can get in the other side, a small "hook" on the end of a wire will let you grab the back side of the clip and pull it off.
Straighten out a large paper clip and put about a 1/8" hook at the end and that will be close to what you can use
