Parasitic Battery Drain
Ok, so here we go. Obviously, this is an annoying problem. In my case, it appears to be related to the cluster/power windows/turn signals, which each went out simultaneously yesterday. When they went out (I believe the fuse is at fault), the battery drain ceased. Any ideas on why the fuse would keep blowing? It has blown several times now. I thought it was worth putting out here, so I can hopefully avoid spending hours trying to find it.

Year model of car along with the rate of power drain (2 days, 1 week, etc) is useful info. Also, any aftermarket accessories like burglar alarms, keyless entry systems, aftermarket sound systems with outboard amps, etc.
C3's have a rep for killing batteries in 2-3 days. Mine (1979) was caused by a faulty stock alarm system.

It is a 1975, has factory alarm, aftermarket stereo but no amps. There is no keyless entry. Generally, it drains it in 2-3 days, but since the gauge cluster fuse blew, I have had no drain. This is very odd, as when I first got the car 2 years ago it never did any of this.

If the cluster fuse blew then you know that something is causing too much current to go through that circuit. Sounds like you will need to take the dash apart to have a look for a bad connection, bare wire, or other electrical problem.
