I reglued with the 3m product, then laced both sides together under the consol, used 80lb test halibut line, also put in two staples on each side, a little over kill, the line worked great

Mine are just held on with the 3 screws. the hard backing on the drivers side was warped and never fit right so I threw it out and just screwed in the carpet on that side. works fine.
Trim screws and plastic inserts. The AIM shows how they mount and has a note about trapping the top edge of the panel under the console.
I replaced those with a molybolt when I had them off. Just loose enough to be able to move it to the correct location. Then replaced console side pannels with leather lined panels.
