Pinstriping Your Vette

The newly painted car looks kind of naked without it so I am casting about for a method to redo it. The stripe shown was painted by a guy who called his business "yipes stripes". Looked around to see if I could find him and discovered he now has relocated to Beverly Hills 90210 and calls himself "stripe-meister". Business must be real good.
Hmmm, just checked his domain and he's no longer there. That's recent.
Found another guy at pinheadlounge.com/lunaticcustoms but haven't contacted him yet. Says he works in the SF Bay Area so that's a possibility.
Has anybody done this themselves? I have a little glass bottle with a brass wheel on it to lay down paint but have never tried it out. Looks pretty old, it's been in the garage for years. I might experiment a bit with it.
I think people do this professionally with special brushes and it is probably a rather specialized skill not for amateurs like me.
The other possibility is decals a la 3M and such but that's not for me either.
I also have a new hood. Was small block, now it's this and looks like a blank slate for some cool stripes along the LT-1 look.
