First summer with the Vette...
I just thought I'd throw out a quick story about my first summer with the Vette. Bought it last October so mostly waited all winter to drive it while I fixed some stuff. Anyways, what a great summer with the car. It was truly a blast to have and drive. I was lucky to not have ANY problems, and that is really a miracle. - ok, well the first day the throttle cable fell off, but I wired that back on. A couple times it didn't start but it was in my garage so no big deal. Took it to Bowling Green (OH) a couple times (to my brothers to show it off.. haha) and to Norwalk... to show it off, and lots of nice Saturday evenings out with the wife to various places including a weekend trip to central Ohio, a nice 2 hour drive. I really enjoyed the car. Took to to a bunch of cruise ins, and shows. I was really excited for the first one too! Got lots of nice comments. Anyways, it was just real cool and everything I thought it would be.

It's hard not to love them huh? Even when they cost more in blood, sweat, tears and cash then you expect or want to put in... Mine's waiting on a fuel pump part right now, and I just grit my teeth with each passing beautiful, cool fall day here in E. TX that I can't take her out and enjoy.
Maybe I'll just go lay down another coat of Zaino while I wait...
