is orange the new red?

seen a few on here and read a few threads about folks changing color to orange. i painted mine orange to be different and stand out among the others. now i may just blend in.

Mine was born "Burnt Orange"...
The previous owner painted it red because nothing rhymed with orange...

Seriously, thinking of going to a candy apple orange someday...

Kind of on the fence?

I would like to see a dark red orange like the crayon with red interior.

That would be cool to see-
I'm kinda liking the Torch-Red-ish colors I've seen on some of the late model Ford and Mazda compacts.. Kinda like an electric red with an orange hue to it.

Same story... 72 red vert, was Ontario orange, which I think is awesome. When this paint goes south, it will back to Ontario Orange! Goes south and I can afford a nice paint job....

i think people are learning to do a lot of things with orange that make it pop a lot more.

My wife still prefers a red car no matter the make over any other color.. I am still trying to get her out of that mentality. maybe one day..

I saw a 2012 Grand Sport Inferno Orange with Tan interior and it was beautiful. Would love to own one some day.

A lot of people feel this way. Our 71 coupe was originally Steel Cities Gray, but the first owner painted it red.. I`m the third owner, and it was still red when I got it. But it will be back to the gray by the end of the year.
Was EVERY Corvette red at some time in it`s life?
