First let me say, there is almost nothing that will get your blood flowing like banging through the gears in a big block '69. All 6 barrels sucking in that 36 degree air sets you back in your seat.
Just finished replacing the clutch. The old clutch was in reasonably good shape except big chunks were missing causing a horrible vibration. What would cause big chunks to come off of the clutch plate. Don't know if it is original or not. Car has 70k miles of which I put 6k on. Is it caused by age? Just curious.
