Headlight washer nozzel install on repro headlight assemblies
had to buy have plastic bezals instead of the oem "pot metal" material. I bought the washer nozzels and attempted to put them on yesterday. The top nozzels are too long and don't have enought clearance to fit under the metal top housing. Anyone else attempt doing this? Are the new repro nozzels made incorrectly. Bottom nozzels present no problem. In the photo's below, ignor the "nut" on the nozzel which shouldn't be under the housing - the effect of the height problem would even be greater if the nut is correctly positioned on top.

apparently the top nozzel is not in the location as shown in the AIM but instead sorta "face on" to get the required clearance - too bad I didn't see this before I drilled the top hole

Use plastic fusion (or plastic weld) epoxy and you can fix those extra holes real quick. Dries fast, sands smooth and can be painted.
