1969 Interior mirror?

Sources will remain unnamed.
Anyone have any luck on this part? I see ZIP and Paragon both list a "reproduction" and a "replacement" with the repro about $25 more. Not interested in price. Anyone have recommendation on the right part?

If I'm looking for a replacement part I always go to Paragon or Dr Rebuild first....you might want to call them to discuss.
If it's at the ball, is the little square spring steel insert, in the hole on the mirror's attaching stem? If that square insert is missing, the mirror will droop.
If the problem is at the header, it could be the mirror bracket on the header, the retaining clip, or both. The curved arm with the ball on the end, that the mirror attaches too, has another ball at the header end. The upper ball is held into the mirror header bracket, by a "U" shaped steel clip. These clips are spring steel and can loose their tension, or even break, allowing the mirror droop. Also, the header bracket has 2 little loops cast into it, that the mirror clip is held up by. If one of the loops breaks, the clip cannot keep tension on the mirror support ball, also allowing a mirror to droop.
I can't take any pictures right now, but if I can I'll post some a little later.
