Greetings from the UK.
Why not by one in the UK you ask ,well there is not such a great selection to choice from to be honest.
So i want to import my own from the states, thing is i might have found a nice one being sold at D&M MOTORSPORTS its a 82 Silver with red leather looks really nice from the pictures and at a fair price for the condition.
Some how a warning popped up with a link to this forum with regards a few members having issues with D&M Motorsports, is there any truth to this as going from there internet site they dont seem to be doing to badly.
ut
I have owned a 1990 C4 Corvette in the past along with a 65 Mustang ,Trans Am and a Impala 66.
Is there anybody on here that sources Corvettes for a job/hobby .
My ideal corvette would really be from 71 72 73 74 Big block 454 auto. Dont mind a 77 and i dont mind 80 81 82.
My budget is very flexable.
So any advice most welcome.
Cheers
I couldn't find a project car for sale over here for love nor money.
Sourced the car, phoned John at Golden Chariots and he sorted absolutely everything.
Where in the UK are you?
What's the stats on your vette and what needs doing to get her on the road for next summer :-)
I am up Manchester way :-)
Oh and i was thinking of useing hillshipping but we shall see.
Heres the guys that brought mine over. No joking, I never needed to do anything other than fill in the form. Just paid for the car and told them where it was. Within 24 hours the car was picked up and on its way to the docks in California. http://www.goldenchariotsinternational.com/
Everything is in place really it's just a case of finding the right corvette :-), which I think I have but the company selling seem to have a bad rep .
Going to give them a call anyway and see what the score is on the 82 .
