Default How Did I Do?

Got home and spent a few minutes with my first Vette. What do you think? Did I do well?

Nice looking car. Enjoy it.

Unless your choke was still kicked in, you may want to lower your idle a little. Looked like it was around 11 or 1200 rpm. May want to back it off 400 or so.

Nice car. Good luck

I was trying to get the size of the tire when you zoomed in, but couldnt get it. What size tire are you running and are you using any spacers?

Thank You.

I know the rims are 17", don't have the exact tire size, not sure if there are spacers. The carb is definitely rich. In the background there is a '70-'73 split bumper camaro total frame off restoration. It's going to be nice. So did I get a good deal for $9k?

you mean 900?

prolonged idle at 400 puts the oil pressure dangerously low (or in my Buick, would put the pressure at zero)

and to the OP

yep, I'm jealous, now get out there and do what Alaska said

I think he meant back it off BY 400, not set it at 400.

Back off 400 to 750-900. Definately not set at 400 rpm.
