exhaust manifold
Can anything be done to make stock manifolds more like headers or do i just get new ones. I have a 77L82 engine and just purchased a new magnaflow hideaway dual exhaust system from corvette central and was wondering if the stock manifolds could be made to flow better or just get a set of headers and if new what would be a good choice. thanks vince

Just say no to cheap headers... 5/16" flange, 18 ga? ick
You can have the exhaust manifolds ported and honed to get better flow.... but you will spend huge dollars to do so (est - $75/hr, 20-200 hours)
The guys who run FAST class (factory appearing stock) do neat tricks like that to get better flow
