Can someone please help with the vacuum diagrams for a 1980 corvette. I need to connect everything 100% since I live in California and smog is a big deal. I need to connect the air cleaner and everything else. I am starting from scratch so I need all the help I can get. Thanks to all in advance.

This is an old post but I have the same problem. PO removed some of the vacuum lines now I have no idea what goes where. The 3 way connection at the intake is open at the top. I think that may go to the auto trans mission. I have also read there is a line to the cruise control. There is what appears to be a vacuum line that hangs down by the temp sender. It has a large end on it but very small opening deep in what looks to be a connector, almost like a spark plug wire but no wire inside just a hole, goes into the bundle with other vac lines. Many other electrical issues I am trying to chase down to. He had removed original breather which i have replace and am making vacuum line connections there. This is the last phase of a major rebuild. Looking forward to getting it road ready soon. By the way its an 1980 350 with cruise and auto transmission.

Yes, the top connection of the 3-way goes to the automatic transmission modulator valve. It's a hard line with very short pieces of rubber hose at either end. The one dangling by the temp sensor almost certainly goes to the EVAP canister. The dual snorkel vacuum line connection is a bit odd--only the front snorkel is connected to the thermostatic vacuum switch in the bottom of the air filter body. The side snorkel is directly connected to manifold vacuum as it only opens when vacuum drops at wide open throttle.
I really suggest you get vacuum hose kits from Doc Rebuild. (look it up) You get the PROPER hoses cut-to-length, connectors, clamps and excellent diagrams. Believe me that PROPER hoses matter in our cars and many are not what you can buy from a regular parts house! Inside AND outside diameters matter in numerous places--particularly the headlamps. Material matters in the EVAP system as fuel vapor eats standard vacuum hose.
