I agree Mike. I'm not trying to be coy. I have this block in my 71 and have owned it for 6 years and know the ownership for 6+ years before that... It is hurt and needs rebuilt. I'm in the process of pulling it to rebuild. I know that it is a long shot but I am just trying to help someone that may have this car(numbers match) and trying to reunite. No big secret, I just didn't want any drama. Since the numbers indicate it is a 69 early 350/350, manual, I was thinking I could make someone very happy. Just trying to be a good guy to all the forum members, including you, that have given me so much.
Cheers
Mike
I realized you had block. My point is there is no need to raise the hopes of the owners of 00295, or 01295, or 04295 if your block is stamped 36295. Just the same, knowing it's a 350/350 will help slow the heartbeats of some of the xx295 owners.

I respect your effort in trying to reunite your engine with the original car and maybe helping "that owner" out. Top shelf gesture on your part. BK3
