Nose reinforcement adhesive
I am in the process of a frame off restoration and I removed the the metal reinforcement in the front end of the car that supports the headlight assemblies and had it powder coated. It was held in by an adhesive that barely would let it come out and im not sure what it was. Does anyone know what that adhesive is?

This is a great "How To" article. However I could never understand the need to remove the header bar in three pieces. Mine came off in one piece. I was able to glassbead the original part and repaint. When the weather turns in the spring I'm going I'll re-install the part before finishing the repairs to the front clip because right now anytime I move the clip around, it's pretty flimsy. Add the note on the SEM 39747 adhesive is a big help.
The only way to cut the rivets in a sane manner is to remove the center so you can cut the rivets out.
