I installed new pads and rotors all the way around. Bled the brakes, etc. All seemed good. But the car acts as if it will stop without depressing the brakes sort of like when you have the e-brake on.
When bleeding the brakes I can see the piston moving so they are not stuck. Its almost like the pads are too thick???
Are the pads and rotors the same for front and back????
The rotors are different in the back from the front. Thickness should be the same but the dimensions of the rotor and how it fits the hub are different.
Anyway, I bought them off ebay and when I installed them two months ago. I just never bled the brakes as I needed a person to help me. I recall the rear rotors were a bitch to get on. The parts I got seemed to be all the same with the exception of a sticker saying driver side / passenger side.
I checked autozone for part numbers and they are different for the rotors like you said. I am wondering if I put the front rotors on the rear and visa versa or if they gave me two fronts.

Dang it...it is always something.
Sounds like you did the same thing I did... front rotors and rear rotors are different.... despite them coming in the same, unlabeled, white box; they were different enough that I had the same problem - until someone not-so-gently pointed out that I'd put both the rears on the front..... D'OH!!!!!!
look for a 6th hole in the mount flange where you adjust the rear, emergency brake.... IIRC it's like .020 difference front/rear - and it's enough to cause that problem.... but easy to fix
Well I swaped the front to the back and sure enough...I had them on backwards. Man, they sure do look alike but you guys are right, they are slightly different.
Okay, bled the brakes then take for a test drive. The passenger side tire is making a horrible screatching noise. I put in all new bearings/seals, etc. I am thinking it is a bad bearing. I put her on stands and spin the wheel and I determine the weights on the inner wheel are hitting the caliper. I then grinded down the caliper and no more noise.
I resume the test drive, and all good. When I return, I notice fluid. I determne very small pinhole leak on top of radiator. I am gonig to try some stop leak and if not, I will yank the radiator which does not look fun and start another project. Damn will it ever end.
A C3 Corvette is a jealous mistress, so, in answer to your question, no, it will never end - even if you sell it you won't be done because you'll cast longing looks at other people's C3s; and you then go buy another one - because, the other one was a pariah....
....and it wasn't (isn't?) I hate the future subjective.
