Default Engine stamp question

Getting back to work on the 69. I pulled the non original small block and am curious if this motor came from another newer corvette. The numbers stamped on it are V0599800. The last 0 actually looks like a reverse "c". It also had a borg warner super t10 behind it. Can anyone tell me what it came from?

Hey Midlife69
This engine has just turned up in a 69 vette in the UK. I know it was a while ago, but do you recall what happened to the engine? Did it get worked on or sold on or just transplanted?
cheers
