I was able to pick my car up last night. By the time I got home from work and then to the painters it was dark so I could not take any pictures. I did drive it work today though...I stopped at the end of my road this morning on the way to work and took a few. Please excuse the heavy dew I had not driven far enough to blow it off.
Thank You everyone. It is amazing how the color can change a car so much. I know it is what you see, but how it changes or brings out the shape of the car. I look back on the pictures of the original and now and I see lines of the car that seemed to be hidden when it was charcoal. The light color with the right accents really make the lines of the design pop. Oh and I think the new paint has made the car faster.....
Was grey the stock color? OR was the two-tone the stock color? Just wondering what direction you went. It looks great for sure. Looks like a totally new car
The original color was charcoal. I tried to like it, but it was just missing something. I changed my mind many times between original, black, blue with some racing stripes etc...
There is just something about a Silver Corvette IMHO. And since the first Corvette I ever drove when I was 18 was a 78 Silver Anniversary. At that moment I knew some day I would have one. Took me until I was 44 so the color chose just seemed like the right one.
I know it's an 82 and not a 78 but I have what I have wanted for the past 26 years.
