If congress mandates E15 gas how will it affect our C-3s?
I have read Lar's thread about QJet rubber components failing with modern blends and I am concerned.
Contact both your senators and your representative. Tell them how you feel.
I can but I live in Cali, Feinstien and Boxer senators and Scott Peters (argh) as our new representative.
Last time I contacted a congressman was last year re Cali SB 1224 (La Malfa Smog Check Exemption) was to change smog requirements from 1975 and older to a rolling 20 year. The spokeshole I talked to went on and on (reading from a script) about how bad old cars pollute.

An E-15 mandate would result in a need for older cars to update their fuel systems to handle it.
That said, the current move by the government is to relax government control over fuel by allowing stations to sell it, should they so choose. Right now the government prohibits stations from selling E15.

Yeah, here in California, they just had their first successful 'Cap and Trade' Carbon auction, where companies pay to trade 'Carbon Credits'!
Pretty soon, it will come down to us who own older cars, then they're going to tell you, that you can't drive to work (they're really working on it! See the PPIC directive or Public Policy Institute, who generate a lot of the new 'ideas' that our State Government loves to implement!
Next, it's going to be the Carbon Cops, waiting outside of Mexican restaruants, to write you a 'Carbon Ticket' for that jumbo burrito you just consumed. "Sir, please step away from the tamale".
