Guys,
I have a 68 427 engine that I have been sitting on for a while, and now that I'm nearing retirement, it's time to pass it on. I'd like to be fair, but not foolish on a price. The block is a 3916321 dated A 10 8. The block was decked, so the front pad is clean. The heads are late 67 casting 3904390. The block was bored 040 and has never been fired. 4 bolt mains. Any ideas on a value? I've been out of circulation for a while, and would appreciate your feedback. Thanks
Dave
Yea I know what you mean time to clean up a spot ...as for the question you asked..need more info ..complete engine? bare block w/ heads...any other stuff w/ block?..crank..pan...etc..pictures would be a must for serious buyers who rely on detailed description and ...pix..
Sorry for the incomplete info. The engine was rebuilt professionally by the best shops in the area. I asked that it be built to put up about 400 hp, so the cam is fairly aggressive. The heads are wrong, I know, but they were all I had at the time. With this block, you could build a 435 hp engine or an L88, if you had the right heads.
I have the correct heads..and tri power...exhaust manifolds..pan..I need a block ..I have a 67 BB roadster...I'm looking for period correct...you are close talk to me...do you have
