Detonation damage? pics
Happened to notice on the exhaust side of mostly cylinders 2,4,6and 8 and to a lesser degree on the rest. All on the exhaust valve sides of the cylinder not on the intake side. Makes me think that it is detonation damage from long ago since I can see no evidence of corresponding damage to the pistons. Either that or it was chipped during honing? Seems unlikely since it is all on one side of the cylinders.
I dressed it up to remove the sharp edges should work ok I figure.
anyone else seen this before?
