Default Clutch petal instillation question

I have a 78' vette that I am currently working on an auto to manual swap. I have installed the clutch petal, but I need to know where on the frame to weld the clutch crossover shaft frame bracket. The engine and transmission are not in the car so I need a reference point on the frame. The diagram that the kit came with does not provide that location.

My car was a clutch-issued car from St. Louis so I trust the location is close. I'm aware that this is not the best reference but it was handy.

While you take guesses at this, let me see if I or anyone else can get you a better reference.

Sorry Joshua, this is the last decent image I'd taken for this position. As mentioned from a previous post, disregard the double spring from the cross-shaft lever to the steering mount; I found the correct spring later.

Hope it offers some help and good luck.

I asked the same question a couple years ago, and a forum member posted this for me:

I ultimately went with a hydraulic clutch. Hope this helps.
