i went all moog everywhere except the rubber trailing arm bushings and all usa and all tight.(not sure who made the trailing arm bushings from corvette central).only thing is the upper moog ball joint has a large top hat style grease chamber and looks very different from my original.btw the moog idler arm seems much more heavy duty and less likely to get contaminated.
Most parts stores will discount your purchase 25-40% because of the competition between them....unlike the Corvette parts stores that make you feel good with a lousy 10% if your lucky......Check around for your best price....Make sure its in a box representing the brand and not in 'plastic bags'....
That's who was quoting me the $80, (also, the one they had in stock (lower) was "Hecho en Mexico" not that there's anything wrong with that).
I'm not in a hurry so I'll call around Monday and see what B&B and some of the others have.
Thanks
Mooser
Bought mine from CSSB.com (Corvette Stainless Steel Brake) they tote USA made for their suspension parts. If repro or off shore they spell it out to make sure they purchaser is fully aware of what they are buying. Mine seem to be pretty average good quality and USA made. Just another source to check out.
I ordered the USA made kit from Wilcox and it was drop shipped from Volunteer Vette products. So I would agree, they are all from the same source. Wilcox couldn't say who made each piece, only that they were American made.
