Is there anything unique about removing the horn button on a tilt / telescope steering column? On my C2 it just pulls off and then you can get to the bolts.
By he way, I'm still waiting on my AIM to show up.
The horn cap assembly is made up of three pieces. A die cast cap with three posts, a plastic emblem, and a metal retainer.
The three parts all fit together over the three posts on the cap. The posts on the cap are spun over to retain the emblem and the metal retainer. The spun over posts are not all that secure. The metal retainer snaps into the metal upper horn contact.
If you just pull directly on the cap you may end up with three seperate parts. You want to take a small screwdriver blade and reach under the cap and pry directly between the metal retainer and the upper horn contact to get the cap assembly off of the column.
I do not recommend pulling directly on the die cast horn cap.
