Default I had a similar problem, after a tare down and rebuild at the dealership.

I had a similar problem, after a tare down and short block replacement at the dealership under warranty. When they put the motor back in I asked to be there when they went to start it. Had the exact same problem. Turned out the catalytic system was plugged, so it would start, but within 15 seconds to a minute the engine could no longer exhaust the burned fuel meaning no clean air or fuel could enter the combustion chamber. One way to check this would be unhook your exhaust from the back of the manifolds, as long as the aren't the manifolds that had that honeycomb mesh in side that acted like a pre-catalytic, and see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise, if valve train is good you have a fuel delivery problem, which could range from fuel filter, fuel pump to injector problems or even water in the gas tank. Hope it all works out..
