a/c restoration
starting to reassemble firewall components. Did'nt realize a/c was butchered as bad when disassembling. All parts are there for a functioning system, evap. and housing, compressor, hoses and a newer style reciver drier, not the original (car is 1973) no VIR, and evap is not same as pictures of evap for my year. Anyhow hopefully gonna make what we got work can't afford the vintage air. Anybody else been through this? What did you do?

Do you have an AIM? There are pages and pages on this system. You can also check cars at car shows and cruise-ins to see what their system looks like. I have the complete AC system from my '70 which should be the same, just sitting in my garage. If you need any pieces or whole parts, let me know and I'd be happy to help. I went with vintage air.
