Door Panel Removal
I am starting a project to replace the driver side mirror. To do this I have to remove the window crank and door handle. I have looked over several books, youtube and discussion boards and I can't find the clip that hold these on. I tried the window tool with no luck.HELP!!!!!: I also tried to remove the clip with a thin rag. I just need to see a picture and the best way to remove the window crank and door handle.
Anyone have pictures or video?????

Behind The crank handle has a C clip that can be removed with a paper clip ( shape the paper clip like a fish hook) and pull
the door handle is a 5/16 bolt I think I used a 1/4 drive socket set with a long extension

Before you get too far into your project, order the assembly instruction manual (AIM) for your model year. It will show you the clip you're looking for, how the mirror installs, and how to put the door panel back on.
