Never had your talents with a machine needle; looks great. The interior looks sharp and comfortable too.

How about some current pics of the entire car?

Welcome back.

The mirrors came from a 1997 Buick Riviera or Olds Aurora....same mirrors. Haven't hooked up the wiring...yet. Got the control button for the mirrors but need a wiring diagram. The mirrors are electric and heated. It's a project for this coming summer as well as the Push Button Engine Start/Stop.

No talent necessary using the sewing machine. If you can use a band saw, you can sew. It's just a matter of taking the seat coverings apart and figuring out how "they" did it. There are little "v" cuts the factory uses as reference lines. You simply cut new pieces using the old ones as templates and make sure you mark the "v" reference points. Everything ...well....most everything is done inside out. You put two pieces together, front to front and sew the edges about 3/8" or 1/2" in. That stitches the two pieces together very strong. You can then get fancy and do several types of seams. The French Seam is my favorite where you top stitch on both sides of the join. Once you play with it a bit, it's really easy. Parts is parts. There's nothing more fun than doing stuff yourself. You can get as conservative or wild as you want with different color threads, different thickness threads and different color material. Once you play around with the machine and figure out what it can do, it's a snap. Industrial machines can do auto upholstery, boat upholstery, furniture, canvas and even ...yes....masonite.

They are Western Wheels. Not sure if that company is still around.

More pics....

Updated photos showing HHO setup in front right corner of engine bay. My big block 11:1 compression ratio 427 ci /435 hp has been running this distilled water plus baking soda (Brown's Gas) configuration for almost four years now. The car runs on regular unleaded gas and gets about 16-17 mpg overall. You can do a search on youtube to find out about HHO or Brown's Gas or Water4Gas. It really does work. The car used to run crappy on supreme 91 octane unleaded before the HHO. It pinged a lot and had about 25% less power. The minute we hooked up the HHO, you could tell instantly the effect. The engine smoothed out at idle and runs beautifully...all things considered...on regular. Just thought you guys would like to know!!!!
