With a little luck I will be painting my 77 this summer. Original color is tan, thinking of going yellow. Will probably change my mind 10 times by then. Yup, we need that interior color first.
Thats good, cause with a black interior you can go with pretty much anything. Bright blue with the white stripes sounds like a great look. Nice contrast too. Not an easy choice for sure. Start looking online for those ideas.
I traded my 73 shovelhead chopper for the vette and found a painter to paint the car and do all the body work for my 1999 Kawasaki 1100. Copper was worth around 7k and Kawasaki around 3k so I think I did pretty good. Vette has newer carpet seat decent and dash was replaced with a racing style with only gauges. No air or heat. But who needs them its got t tops and I don't plan on driving it in the winter lol.
Mine was baby blue but who ever painted it did a crappy job. My painter originally said 2 weeks but after he started sanding it down he added another week to the job.
Well decided to go blue with white racing strips. The blue is a cross between viper blue and Subaru wrx blue. Once I get a photo bucket account I will post some pics.

Can't wait to see it. Is that a custom colour unique to your car or is there a paint code associated with it?

Cool choice. I had a 77 that was Fiat blue with a black strip. You could only really see the black strip at night under street lights. The fiat blue became lighter under the street lights.
